In good graphic design and web development there is no one size fits all “solution” to your project. What may work for another business will not work for you. That’s why every solution I make is tailor made for you and your businesses individual needs. Below are the steps that are generally involved in any project I work on.
A good brief makes all the difference. This is the stage where you let me know what you need. The issue your having or the customers you need to communicate with. Here we will discuss all the requirements of the project so that nothing is left to chance and we both have an excellent understanding of what needs to be delivered and when.
This is where we go away and write up a quote based on the brief. All our quotes are negotiable they are not set in stone. If you have a budget that you need to stick to let us know and we will do our very best to work with in it. There are no hidden charges and no sneaky addons. What you see is what you get.
Once your happy with the quote and we get your approval its on to the next stage. Depending on the project or if you are a new client we many need a percentage of the quote paid up front but we can discuss that along the way.
So the quotes all approved and we are ready to go. Your eager to see the artwork and we keen to get cracking on the project. What happens now is we go away and do a first draft of the artwork. Depending on the project this might be a rough draft just to make sure we are on the right track. Then its back to you!
We have just sent you the artwork. Its now up to you to have a look over it. Make some comments on the design. What you think works, what you like, consider how it will sit with your customers. We will then update the artwork and send it back again for your approval. (Steps 4 & 5 will repeat a few times until your happy)
Your happy with the artwork! (Of course you are) We will send you back one final draft for you to double check all the details are correct. Are all your phone numbers, email addresses and web address correct? Once you have given us final approval its off to the printers or uploaded to the web.
